The Concise Oxford English-Arabic Dictionary is one of the better English to Arabic dictionaries available. For native speakers of Arabic it has excellent examples of figurative uses of English words. For native speakers of English, it is probably the best choice of a poor selection of English to Arabic dictionaries.

This book is, to my knowledge, the best available companion to the Hans Wehr Dictionary. However, I find that I need to check every Arabic word listed in the Oxford dictionary in Hans Wehr in order to determine the context it can be used in.
